Play
Play is one of the most important ways that children learn and develop. The type of play that children engage in and its purposes change as the child grows and matures.
As parents and carers most of us are naturally motivated to join in and play with our children. It can be disappointing therefore when the child does not respond to or rejects our attempts to become involved in their play. For some children with ND differences their play may be different and more individualised. However, with understanding and support it should be possible to progress their play including their Social Play.
