What is in the library?

Resources include books and sensory items all
available for loan free of charge. There are materials to support parents and professionals and a good selection of books for children and young people.

You can search the full catalogue by keyword, author or title using the Library search module

Who can use the library?

The Pines Library can be used by families and professionals.

When is it open?

The library will be open every Tuesday & Wednesday from 10am-4pm and Thursdays 10am to 12.30pm. There is no need to make an appointment, just come along.

What can I borrow?

You can borrow two items at a time, for up to four weeks.

Is there a charge?

No, it is free to use the Pines Library.

How do I collect items?

All items must be collected in person from The Pines in Inverness,
unfortunately we cannot post items because of the cost involved.

Can I renew items on loan?

Yes, you can renew an item if you have not finished with it within four weeks.

What happens if I lose an item I have borrowed? 

The Pines will send a reminder about the overdue loan. If the item is not received back after a period of time you will be charged for a replacement copy.
