Creating an Individual Profile for your Autistic Child.
This film looks at creating an individual profile for a child to better understand their autism and their individual needs. It looks at the strengths, struggles and strategies for each element of the diagnosis: Communication, Social Interaction, Flexibility & Routine and Sensory Processing. This will help anyone working with the child to better understand them.
My NDAS Experience
This film narrates one young man’s experience of the final stages of an autism diagnosis. Before this stage there had been a lot of sharing of information between parents and professionals. This is a short but positive film to show to an older child/teenager who may be anxious about getting a diagnosis.
Next Steps
The Next Steps film is for families who have a child with a recent diagnosis of a neurodevelopmental condition such as autism.
